A 3,000+ page WordPress rebuild that recovered from agency-caused de-indexing and grew to 704,000+ sessions per year — migrated live without losing rankings.
The flagship site had been handed over to an agency that de-indexed key commercial pages during a migration, causing significant ranking loss across the most valuable product and location categories.
The project involved a complete WordPress rebuild covering hundreds of product categories and thousands of pages, followed by a live migration executed without losing organic traffic or existing rankings. Server configuration was handled end-to-end, including Plesk, Cloudflare CDN, and SSL setup.
SEO recovery was achieved through structured data implementation (FAQ, Product, LocalBusiness and custom service schema), Core Web Vitals optimisation that brought PageSpeed scores from 50 to 90+, and a location page strategy that now drives approximately a third of total traffic.
Organic sessions grew from 4,889 per month at the start of the project to 15,000–20,000 per month. Total annual sessions now exceed 704,000.
